Ajla Landa, Kimited, has received the following report form their Now York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. We are unable to discover any news of a concrete nature to diplain the strength of the market. It looks as though chances of a definite break-away on the up-side have been materially increased. Traders favour motors, motor accessories, chemicals and retail merchandising,
Wheat: A much better undertone is prevailing than for sometime past The lack of aggressive selling and the strength of coarse grains helped the advance. Receipts were light.
Cotton: The market ignored lower cables from abroad and the trend of the balance for the day was upward. Recent market action appears to be encouraging more confidence for a higher level of prices.
Silver: The market opened quiet. The lower London parity and the decline on the Bhanghai marker off-set the rally in the Sterling exchange. Most trades are centred on Maroh position.
Business Done: 2,010,000 shares.
