Asia Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, É. A. Fierce & Co. We think that the market is giv- ing signs of defintely increasing strength and we believe that a little more advance in rails would stir up a substantial amount of public participation. Wheat: There has been a renewal of speculative buying on a sold-out market. Statistics are bullish.
Cotton: The market acted well considering that there was December liquidation and scattered selling for other months. Early offerings were absorbed by the Trade. Conditions later were better as speculative dem.. and developed.
Silver: Prices were undoubtedly influenced at the opening by the ten-cent increase in the gold price and further influenced by the action of. the stock market. There was no outstanding fenture. Business Done: 1,890,000 shares.
