Annual Closing

As in former years, the port of Newchwang will shortly be closed for the winter, and the "official" closing will take place towards the end of the current month.

Tientsin Harbour

Since the opening of Tientsin Harbour again last month, several ships have been able to proceed right up to that port. An omelal of Messrs. Butterfield and Swire said that a number of their ships were now able to proceed right up to the Tientsin Bund.
