Team
(From a Special Correspondent)
Singapore, October 21. The Malayan cricket team that is visiting Hong Kong at the end of this month, although lacking the services of one or two of the best bats in the country to-day, is generally regarded as a sound and well-balanced side fully capable of maintaining the high tradition as- sociated with the triangular tour ney in Hong Kong.
As was announced last week the following have accepted the invità- tion to travel tasued by a special committee that was appointed to select a team from
all State and Settlement players through-
out Malaya, of which there are alx
senior combinations:-

B. S. Gill (Selangor State)
N. Bewicke (Johore State). An effort is made in giving the names as above to forecast the order of batting judged from the order in which they play in their own teams, but it will of course depend entirely on the discretion of the captain at the time of bat-
ting.
