Trading remains largely professional, with relatively thin markets. on both sides, The list acts as though awaiting news, and we feel that news of develop ments in the near future is more likely to be favourable than otherwise, One thing appears to stand out and that is that so-called direct currency inflation is shelved for the present.
Wheat: Wholesale liquidation in all grains. Support was largely abort covering, although mills bought fatures. Receipts were light Active hedging sales and Pro-bureau liquidation depressed prices. The Trade bought on the scale-down. The market is in an uncertain mood.
Silver: Operators are inclined to await further developments in Washington Trade news is devoid of fresh features, Prices eased in sympathy with other markets. Business Donsi 1,480,000 shares.
