Mr. Ingleby Oddie, the Padding ton Coroner, held an inquest on the body of Commander Cecil Brooks formerly Commodore of the P. and O. deet,, who disappeared on June 16. Commander Brooks had been to the Continent in, cannection with negotiations for the purchase of certain ships. On his way home he disappeared from the steamship Prague.
A body, believed to be that of LAMMERT BROS., Commander Brooks, was recovered from the sea at Terschelling, Hol- land, on July 17, and buried there. The body was exhumed and brought to London eight days ago. Sir, Bernard Spilsbury then held a port
