"It is clear that the light did go out when defendant was under way, und he made an attempt to put it right If there had been a colision on anything of that kind. he would have been responsible for the consequences, whether he wil fully put out the light or not; but As it was I think I have to dismiss the summons," said the Marine Magistrate in discharging the de- fendant.
