Asia Lands, Idmited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E A. Pierce & Co., The rally is developing in a normal fashion and it may go a bit further. However we do not think that the market is ready to break out vigorously on the up-side.
Wheat: The expectation that some offers to farmers will be made by the Government, similar to those made to cotton growers, together with the stimulated milling trade and a better demand for Canadian wheat on the Continent, stimulated sentiment.
Cotton: On the announcement of the President's plan to loan ter cents per pound, to farmers who will contract to make a reduction in. Acreage, demand was broad and offerings were readily absorbed.
Silver: Prices advanced on higher cables and renewed speculative buying. A fair proportion of the business done represented switches. Offerings were light.
Business Done: 1,000,000 shares.
