At present, metals, oils and other issues, whose position depends upon the trend of com- modities, are favoured among traders.
Wheat: Local liquidation caused early easiness and the late strength was due to commission house buying, the motive being inflation talk.
Cotton: Hedge selling was prominent at the opening but met with a ready demand. The Trade bought constantly throughout the day. Later, hedge selling fall off and contracts became scarce. The weather is favourable.
