We join in hoping that H.E. the Governor will continue to devote his attention to economic questions in the colony, where much has been done lately, and yet there is so much to do. The pre- sent difficulties of local trade and industry require extreme tact and care, and the public of the colony feel that in H.E. Governor Miranda they will find a leader always ready to assist and co-operate with them for the welfare of Macao.
