circus impresarios, and has trained more wild animals than any wo- man who ever Lived She has made some 30 trips to hospitals, one of them lasting for more than a year as the result of her "en- counters with recalcitrant beasts. Her body carries hundreds of scars testifying to her profession.
"King of the Jungle" centers' around the Lion Man-the role for which Crabbe was chosen from among scores of other athletes. tested for the part. “WOMEN WHO

Showing At The Queen's Theatre
Women Who Play the very en- tertaining comedy playing at the Queen's Theatro is excellent: fare," and wa Heartily recommend it to theatre goers. The principal role that of the arring wife is aleverly portrayed by Benita Hume. She is very ably supported by George Barraud, na fer husband in the story. Joan Barry also adda, much to the entertainment of the „film.: It is a story of a man called Steele who is a waster and who makes love to Mrs. Sones (Miss Hure)« al- though warned by her husband, that this man and his crowd who frequent their home are not desira. ble friends she insists on inviting them to her dinner party. Her husband very cleverly invites a friend of his, who happens to be an actress, to pose na awoman of" the streets, and asks her to the dinner. The outcome of this is a terrible quarrel between the couple" who decide on a divorce, but fate stens in, and the wife sees the folly of her action, and they effect a ré- conciliation and end up by living happily ever after. It is certainly a very excellent picture, with some really clever acting, wall worth see ing.
