The price for Ready Silver was unchanged yesterday, but the For ward rate rose "1/18 making the quotations 19.1/16 for. Ready and 18.3/16 for Forward. Silver ad- vices reported the Continent as hav ing bought. China sold. The tone at the close was steady with America being inclined to buy. In America the rate was slightly higher at 37 for Spot. The tone was steady.
