The last season will he remembered as one that was full of thrills right to the fast. The Arsenal won the League Championship with 58 points, but they were only 4 points ahead of Aston Villa who were the runners-up. The two teams in the bottom positions. Blackpool and Bolton, are relegated to the second division Chesterfield and and they will be replaced by Stoke, and Tottenham Hotspurs. Charlton lose their places in the second division.
