During the 24 hours ended at o a.m. yesterday a total of 10 ships brought 15,798 tons of cargo to the Colony, and carried 31,421 tons for through ports. These ships brought 1,031 Asiatic deck passengers to under review 17 ships left the Colony,

COLLISION IN HARBOUR
S.L TAK, CHOI BADLY DAMAGED.
The stean launch Tak Choi was hedly damaged when she was in collision with the Fung Yu another steam launch in the harbour on Saturday,
The Fung Yu struck the Tak Choi on the starboard side and so much damage was caused that the latter' had to be towed into the Typhoon Shelter.

Capable of Repair.
In conclusion, it may be said that, although the vessel has clear- ly sustained serious damage, no definite grounds yet appear to have been established for believing that she is incapable of repair.
The search among the debris from certain cabins of the burnt
liner L'Atlantique, ordered by the Bordeaux examining judge, has now been completed by Professor Berger, of the Ecole Polytechnique. It reveals nothing suspicious, and it is now thought that it will be

This is, the view taken by M. Barthelemy, military marine en- gineer, and other experts, whose work it has been to examine the finer and obtain information for the use of the three experts who were appointed by the Seine Com- mercial Court to estimate the cost of reconditioning.
M. Barthelemy's conclusions al most tally with those of the first experts called in to examine' L'A Tantique, who said that the cost would be not less than 190,000,000 francs.
It appears, therefore, that the report of the Seine court's experts will favour the view of the owners,
