On Monday, three men named Brenen, Harston and Upton, loft Whampoa for Canton in China sampau. They took the back pas sage past the town of Whampoa. Whilst in Fiddler's reach, three boats ran alongside and effected the capture of the unfortunate men. The boat in which they left Wham- poa returned the following day and reported the catastrophe. PARIS, July 10, Particulars about the enormous swindle in forged Suez Canal shares, which was discovered last week by the French police, have just been made public.
