CRAIGENGOWER GOES UNDER TO KOWLOON DOCKS: BOWLING GREEN LOSES TO K.C.C.

POLICE WINS AT HOME FROM RECREIO

Saturday's lawn bowls results contained many surprise packets for the league leaders. In the senior division, Craigengower.C.C. travelling over to Kowloon Docks were beaten on two out of three rinks, Basa going down heavily. The Bowling Green went under to K.C.C. while Recreio, until recently jointly at the top of the league table with Craigengower and the Bowling Green, went under on the Police green by one shot. Civil Service got the better of Taikoo and came away winners by 40 shots. In the second division, the Bowling Green again lost two valuable points when they slipped in their home match against the Police: Recreio beat the K.C.C. juniors by 44 points--the biggest margin this year. Craigengower con- tinue in winning vein and accounted for the Yacht Club by a dozen points, winning on two rinks, while the In- dians playing at home, found the Civil Service much too good.

INTERESTING FRIENDLY.

"An interesting friendly match was played yesterday on the rinks of the Club de Recreio between a team styling themselves Craigen- gower Rejecta and the veterans of the Chub de Recreio. The game ended by a single shot victory for the rejects," the final score being 21-20. Cordeiro, Jenkins, Johnstone and Atienza (skip), played for the win- ners, while Sousa, Joe Ribeiro, Ma- chado and John Ribeiro (skip) ap- pear for the veterans,
