CLASH IN CHARHAR
Between Feng And Nanking Forces
(From Our Special Correspondent)
Canton, July 20. Fighting between the People's Anti-Japanese Allied Forces un- der General Feng Yu Hsiang and Nanking troops in Charhar is in- evitable, as the latter bas con- centrated at Haun Fa" which is connected with Kalgan, capitol of Charhar, by a railway of about forty miles long, according to re- liable reports received bere from Peiping.
Daily reports of General Feng'a progress are received here by the South-west Political Council. These messages indicate that his anti-Japanese forces can hold out against the Japanese and Nan- king troops for at least one month and that a fervent hope is express ed that patriotic leaders in other parts of the country will rally to the support of his allied army.
