TAIKOO WINS AT HOME FROM CIVIL SERVICE: RECREIO ACCOUNTS FOR POLICE

CRAIGENGOWER'S NARROW WIN OVER KOWLOON DOCK IN LOW SCORING GAME

The lawn bowls fixtures on Saturday resulted in a number of surprises, the chief of which was the defeat of Civil Service 0.0. at the hands of Talkoo, the latter team playing at home and win- ning by 13 points. The Club de Recreio surprise the Palice at King's Park by winning with 27 points to spare while Oralgengower 0.0. had a big fright on their home risks when Kowloon Docks put up a dour struggle but missed sharing the honours by a matter of three polats. The Kowloon Bowling Green inflicted a heavy defeat on the K.0.C. on the former's rinks.

In the second division there was also one big surprise, the Yacht Club going under to the Police by sixteen points while Civil Service playing at home, almost obtained twice as many points as the Indian R.C.
