The .s. Prominent, which sailed from Hong Kong on May 23 on L voyage to Saigon, returned to Har- bour on Saturday having been pirated.
I was on May 20 that the pirates "surprised the officers, at 2 m. in the morning, and it was not until I p.m. that night that they left the ship. After obtaining control, the' pirates had the ship steered to Ha Sha, opposite Ping Shan in Mirs Bay where they made their
escape.
The mastor, Capt. H. Jensen, was wounded in the leg and was taken to Kowloon Hospital immediately on the arrival of the pirated vessel in Hong Kong.
