The Y.M.C.A. swimming season opened on Saturday with a carnival and dance, excellently attended nud very much enjoyed.
The chief event of the evening was the Water Polo Match in which Volunteers beat the Rest of the Y.M.C.A. by a goals to 2.
The 50 yards Aggregate Handicap for man saw an excellent perform- ance by A. Dann who won his heat from scratch in 28 seconds, Y.M.C.A record.
