As we travel we gaze at the star cities of our former trip, they seem to be not quite the same as before, yet in general they haven't changed so very greatly, so we travel on and on through fabulous periods of time watching our nebulous star cities becoming more and nebulous. And lo! finally we are before the birthdays of the nebulae and pausa in amazement and awe at the dawn of the universe.. We have undone all human history, all stellar history we have even brought back the great nebular foundationa of the universò into the shattered fragments of which they were built and pause at the threshold of Universal history and gaze upon the scent of desolation that lies before

The universal matters of which all things are made of are there resolved back into a thin gaseous substance.

And the whole space of the universe is filled with that tenous gas. And the gas is so thingly dis tributed that each molecule stands apart from its neighbours by couple of feet whereas, in ordinary air the molecules are only at about the distance of 1/8,000,000th of an inch apart,
