S. CHINA BEAT LINCOLNS: RECREIO
AND ST. JOSEPH'S SEVERELY TROUNCED
WINS FOR ARTILLERY AND BORDERERS
Heavy scoring teatured the football matches played on saturday, the Club de Recrelo, the team that provided the biggest sens tion, being, beaten by the Borderers by seven goals to cre, while St. Joseph's lost to the Royal Artillery by eight goals to one. By defeating the Lincoins by three goals to one South China have considerably enhanced their prospects of winning the Championship and are tow only seven points behind the Artillery, with five games in hand.
The last match of the Second Division Championship was play. ed between the Club and the Navy, and ended in a win for the latter by three goals to two after a keen struggie.
The Radio Sports Club wound up their fairly successful season in the Third Division by defeating the Signals by four clear goais, and, the Litcoins, the runners-up, were beaten by South Chine, by two goals to all.
