The toast of the bride and groom was given by Sir William Hornell who referred to the courses in agriculture taken by Flor- ence Ho Tung at Lingnan University. E. 0. Yeo had found her, said Sir William, amid the laughter of the guests, in the peaceful meadows of Honam Island,, clad in simple garments and tonding geese, while he was disguised in the wolf's clothing of the Sani- tary Department, and Florence had decided to desert agriculture for husbandry.

What the witness would bay would be that the three defendanta had never been authorised to collect money on behalf of the ones Union which was authorised to collect money for such a purpose. After some discussions his Worship 'ad- journed the case for half an hour in order to allow time for Mr. Silva to consult his clients.

Oficial's Evidence,

Wong Piu Choi, an gcial of the Big Union of the General Pub lic of Kwantung for the Relief and Assistance of the Volunteers of the North East, said that the Union was formed by the general public at Chton and registered with the Canton Government.
