Kowloon Cricket Olub chances of winning the premier League Championship were lost on Saturday, when they wore beater by the University by 68 runs. The Kowloon side were dismissed for 96 runs, E. L. Gosano. (5 lor 23) and A. T. Leo (5 for 51) being res- ponsible.

In the Junior Division, a "hat trick" and a century were registered, S. Abbas of Craigengower, dismissing three batamen with three successiva balls, and C. J. Stapleton," of Kowloon, just knocked up a century before being run out. The former feat was in the match between Cralgengower and R.E, and 9. and the latter In the match between University and K.0.0.

TO VOLUNTEERS

By defeating Craigengower Cric- ket club yesterday by one wicket, the University are now in a very strong position in the first Division. Yesterday was their last match of the season, and they are now three Joints ahead of the holders, the Indian Recreation Club who, bow- uver, have atill one match in hand. The Champions have to play the Kowloon Cricket Club and will have to go all out to beat them in order to replay the University for League honoura As things stand even draw would roh the Indians of the championship.
