On each decasion she equalled the con tract speed of ten knots, the best run being at 10.56 knots. After the trial the vessel was put through her manœuvring tests which she nego- tinted with every success.

We are informed that the s.s. Man Kung, first of the vehicular ferry boats to be completed, will com- monce a half-an-hatir service a March 1, for first class passengers and motor vehicles. The Fares,

The following are the fares which the Company hoped to offer at the commencement of the service:-

Bicycles, 10 cents each; motor cycles, 20 cents each; motor cycle combinations, 60 cents cach; cars under one ton 40 cents; over one ton, 90 cents; over two tona 81.50 and 60 cents for each additional ton.
