SHANGHAI BEAT HONG KONG

IN SOCCER INTERPORTA

POOR DISPLAY BY LOCAL SIDE

SHANGHAI'S BRILLIANT TEAMWORK

Playing infinitely better as a team, Shanghai beat Hong Kong by thres goals to two in the Interport football match played on "the Olub ground on Thursday,

The game was 'a hard fought one, and full of exciting incidents, and the result was in doubt until the last minute when Collett sent in a long shot which Rodger misjudged.

Although they fully deserved their win, it must be said that the visitors were rather lucky as had the Hong Kong side convert- ed the penalty which was awarded them, the result might have been different..

Hong Kong lost the match mainly through lack of team work, and although they tried hard individually they lacked the finish- ing touches.
