The Chairman congratulated Rotarian Montargis 'on the honour of Chevalier of the Legion of Honour which had been conferred upon him recently by the President of France and expressed the hope that he and Madame Montargis would long live to enjoy the honour,

The sgrowth in use of "such terms is of importance. It means you have roalised at last that in England at any rate rivers do not divide they unite.
The Loaden County Council boundary is more significant than the Thames division of Middlesex survey. So in Tyneside, the Tyne functions a unifying factor for thirteen Tyneside Boroughs. This unity is more important than the geographical division"between Nor thumberland and Durham,
