The Red? A. Carroll, Military Chaplain, succuded Mr Steedman as Colonial Chaplain, on the 10# April 1955. be became ill on the 8th July, and, under the sanction of the Military Authorities, and furnished with the unal Certificate, left this Colony the 23rd August, and died at on the 1st September. This Clergyman was also appointed with the sanction of the Bishop, as is manifect in Mz Carroll's letter oforming in my despatch 1:43 of 4th June lact, and Majon General Servis
