Shipping News Week-End Statement, Waterfront

WEEK-END CARGO RETURNS

During the 24 hours ended at a.m. yesterday a total of 10 shipa brought 11,877 tons of enrgo to the Colony, and carried 11,537 tons for through ports. These ships' brought 1,330 Asiatic deck passengers to Hong Kong. During the period un- der review 18 ships left the Colony. During the 24 hours ending at a a.m. on Saturday a total of 18 ships brought 20,883 tons of cargo to the Colony, and ourriel 24,485 tons for through ports. These ships brought 997 Asiatic deck, passengers to the Colony, During the period under review 15 ships left the Colony.
