CANTON, Novembor 9. Much prominence is being given in local circles to the ambitions project for building one of the most important railway lines in the coun- try, linking up the south-western provinces of Kwaugtung, Kwangsi,
Yunnan, Kweichow and Szochurn.
The South West Political Council in Canton is said to be seriously considering the proposal, and is arranging a conference to be attend- od by two representatives of ench of the provinces conccrued for the
