GERMANS LOSE TO ROYAL ENGINEERS

The German Club, showing much improved form on Saturday put up a good exhibition against the Royal Engineers and although they wont under by two olear goals, they had quite a fair share of the play.

Amman in goal for the Germa Club played an excellent game and was in a great measure responsible for holding the soldiers in check in the first half. In the second * half, the soldiers tried hard to lead and their efforts were reward- ed when Haydon scored for them." Shortly afterwards Himbury also, found the net.

May and Mueller played a very good game for the losers, who have improved tremendously since their first appearance in the league.,
