My choice for a beach wardrobe
is not an expensive one. If you hanker for pyjamas and feel they will be useful, then make a pair of dark brown trousers in cotton tweed, not too full, and wear them with a cream shantung jacket, over a brown or a jade green bathing dress. If you need two pairs, then make the same cont do for both and have navy for your second; choice.
If you are young and slim, get shorts, but buy them from a good sports outfitter as they have to be man-tailored to look convincing. I Get two bolts like your little brother wears and run to bright stripes, which look splendid with your beach dresses.
