Mr. M. St. J. Walsh, of the British-American Tobacco Co., most kindly supplied us with cigarettes for sale, and many friends gave us home-made swoots and prizes.

Mr Hampden Ross audited the abcounts for us, and wo thank him very much for this kindness.

Mr. J. H. Hunt and the membera of the Indies' section of the Y.M.C.A ment kindly gave a very successful bridge and mahjongg drive in aid of the Hut equipment, and realised the welcome sum of $170. Everyone enjoyed the after- noon, thoroughly, and we are most grateful for this help.

We have had promises of n- sistance in furnishing the Hut from Mr. R. H. Kotewall, who taken an unfailing interest in our Guide work, and Mrs. Sidney Woolf (London).

The estimated cost of the build- ing is 85,500, and we hope to have shortly an estimate for the furnish- ing and equipment of the Hat, for which it my be necessary to raise additional funds.
