WILL INDIAN RECREATION CLUB WIN JUNIOR CRICKET SHIELD?
SOOKUNPOO CLUB'S CHANCES OF DOING "THE DOUBLE AGAIN,
UNIVERSITY BEAT HONG KONG CRICKET CLUB:- NAVY GO DOWN TO KOWLOON.
The most important league cricket match played over the week-end was the game between ludian Recreation Club and Royal Army Service Corpi und by reason of their win the Indians, who aro. incidentally, holders of the shield, have placed themselves at the top of the league table. They now have only to moot Kow- loon Cricket Club and as drow will give them the necessary points to retain the shield. it is more than likely that the Soo- kunpoo club will repeat their success of lust season and bring off. a. double"
ns their first cleven have already won the senior shield.
Throo leaqua games were played on Saturday but none of these had any bearing on the league.
The corrected league tables now stand as follows:-
