In a friendly match between the Civil Service. O.C. 2nd XI. and the
Cp till the time that the after-- noon oxpress started from Canton. ut 4.15, Canton led over Hong Kong in the first series of interport be tween the two porta. The leaders,, however, were very favourably placed to win the rubber. At the and of Saturday's play, they had a watch in head (Leung Tak Kwong boating. "M. W. Lo), and held the advantage in the second match in which Bodikor led over E, C. Fin- cher by 2 sets to love. When play resumed yesterday, Bodiker "put. Canton further ahead by annexing. the third set. With two matches down, Hong Kong managed to res duce the margins by capturing the Doubles in which the Rumjahn cousins beat Wong Po Keung and Ma Chee Huen in straight sots.
The last two singles matches were decided when our representative, left Canton: Leung Tak Kwong led over Fincher by 2 sets to 1, and 4-5 games in the fourth act. The results up till then were as follows:-
Leung Tok Kwong beat M. W. Lo 10-4, 4-6, 6-1, 3-7, 6-2
