Within the past week Mr. Lenz has regained some of the ground! he last earlier in the tournament. On December 21, Mr. Culbertson: wna leading by 10,705 points, week later he had extended this land to 18,640 points; but now Mr. Lew and Commander Liggett have cut the lead down to 14:175 points. For four nights a week since Due. ember 7, the adversaries have been playing eight rubbers a night.
