Before Mr. Willians at Central Magistra on Saturday, & Chinese was charged with the theft of travelling clock and a string of pearls. The complainant was Mrs. L H. V. Bonth, wife of the Dirce tor of Criminal Intelligence,

EXHIBITION BY D.G.S.. PUPILS.

An interesting exhibition of physical culture was given by th pupile of Diocesan Girls' School on Saturday. There was a lengthy programme of twelve items, begin ning with the Kindergarden clas and going right through the school In addition to the physical side of the exhibition, the gathering was treated to some very excellent dancing, including English folk dances. and tap dancing.

A Balloon Dance was appre cinbly recaived. The finale called "D.G.S.", in which the whole school participated, was executed: with accuracy.
