ANNIVERSARY.
To-day, the thirteenth anniversary of the Armistice, will be fittingly observed in the Colony and all the usual ceremonics nsso ciated with the day will be repeatoi
The main function is, of courge, the ceremony at the Cenotaph. Those intending to witness this impressive ceremony will note that His Excelianoy the Governor is timed to arrive at the Cenotaph at 10.50. A minute later the pipers of the 2nd Battalion, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders will play the lament Flowers of the Forest." This will be followed by the sounding of the Last Post by Buglers of the 1st Battalion, the South Wales Borderers. One gun will be fired at 11 am to usher in the two minutes silence and socond gun will be fired at the end. The Buglers will then sound the Roveille.
The ceremony at the Chinese Memorial will take place at 11.45 am and those desirens of attending are requested to arriva not. later than 11.40 s.m.
The street sale of Flanders Poppies, the scarlet emblems of remembrance, will commence at an early hour and arrangementa have been made to cover every district...
