Acacia Leal.
The programme opens with six furlongs sprint for subscrip tion griffins in the G2, D1 and Di Classes. The outstanding cand date here appears to be ricació Loaf, who, with an impost of only 155 pounds, should not have much difficulty in catching the judge's eye. Tango is another good anima with more than a sporting chance. if he had been in any way cons Celerity would have been my pick tent, but he thewa surprising form somo times and at others lets his supporters down badly Mascot, if Mr. Harriman gets the moant should prove a good each-way, bat,
The second race, is also over furlongs There are seven entries hore with Sans Souci, after his re cent performance at Happy Val loy, easily the best of the entries. It will be interesting to see who will take second place, but "ou papor it looks very much as it Happy Choice and Jester will 61 the remaining places. Sultry Eve, The Turbot, Tom Thumb and Vadio do not appear to impress one as likely winners ****

Macao Subs.
The race for subscription griffins of Macao, although it contains only seven entries, is going to be very interesting. In the five fur longs aprint in Macao az. the first extra meeting, Tai Ping Yang won in the straight, coming along with a great rush to deprive Now King of victory, after the latter had led practically all the
way,
The point that punters will be ask od to decide is whother Tai Ping Yang cant stay a mile, and if not, which of the others are likely to stay better than he .Personally, Silver Arrow 'looks toure to me like a stayer than any of the others and although I have no doubt that Tai Ping Yang will be well-backed to-morrow, an outside chance of Silver Arrow might not be totally ampiss,
The fifth race is likely to prove. a repisition of the third. Chriat- mas Bello' does not appear to have much opposition here unless King's Counsel is keep back-for this race, which is more than likely.
