Way For a Sailor featuring John Gilbert, Wallace Beery and Leila Hyuma opened yesterday at the Queen's Theatre. This is a son picture showing the merchant sailor as the man most people believe him to be. Most of the scenes were' taken to show the life of thei sailors on board ship and their life ashore is also shown.
Jack (John Gilbert) "takes the part of the ladies' man and his two friends (Wallace Beery and Jim Tully) travel around with him and share most of his adventures but Are not included in his love affairs with Joan (Leilo Hyama) who has no use for sailors. She does fall in love with Jack, however, and. marries him after ho told her that ho in leaving the sen. Jack later tells her that he has not quit and Joan leaves on a passenger ship. Jack gets a position on the same ship. but all his pleadings are in vain and Joan will not listen to hin. A shipwreck brings tho climax to a delightful close, and of course everything ends in the natural way.
