The Punch and Judy show threatens soon to be a thing of the past. In Paris the "Guignola" in the Avenue des Champs Elyades are as, popular as ever; in Italy the Marionette Players still carry on a centuries-old tradition; but in England it appears probable that the Punch and Judy show will for low the organ-grinder and performing bear into oblivion.
