COUNTY CRICKET MATCH RESULTS.
CENTURY FOR THE NAWAB OF PATAUDI: TALL
SCORING AT OXFORD.
LANCASHIRE'S FINE WIN: DICK TYLDESLY IN FORM WITH THE BALL,
County cricket was seriously interfered with by heavy rains over the week-end, Derbyshire and Sussex being among the teams who were probably deprived of comfortable wins as a result..
After their recent defeats, Lanenskiro came out of her shell " and scored a fine win over Glamorgan, the hero of this match being Dick Tyldesley who captured 11 wickets in two innings.for 112 runs. Pride of place in the "batting honours list " 'goes to tho Nawab of Pataudi this week who scored a brilliant 100 for Oxford against Gloucester,
