It was stated that on the day of Mrs. Pickett's death Mr. Dane and his wife were away. They left New Barnet at 6 am, and returned at 8 p.m. Mra. Pickett died at 9 a.m. next day.
Diagnosed Anemia,
Mr. Dane said that when he first anw. Mrs. Pickett he suspected sho was suffering from arthritis, Later ha diagnosed anemia, for which be treated her.
Dr. O'Callaghan, of Now Barnet, who made a post-mortem examinn tion, said that the cause of Mra. Pickett's drath Wfus

Returning a verdict of Death from Natural Causes, the jury do. clared that medical aid should have Leen called in several days before Mrs. Pickett died, having regard to the wrongful diagnosis of her illness. They were also of opinion, considering the undertaking given by Dane and the fees paid to him, that gross carelessness was shown by Mr. and Mrs. Dane in leaving the patient for a whole day with out efficient help..
The Coroner-I entirely agree with your rider. The woman was Ecriously ill, and it was most im proper to leave her for 14 hours without efficient enre.

Emphasising the value of the exhibition, Colonel Buchan said that no article or speech could im press upon the publio the purpose of the exhibition as forcibly, as an ocular demonstration...
