The race for Australians over a hile is the most interesting on the card. Since all the winners have been barred, The Raindrop which in doubtedly the, most successful 1.52 of the non-winners, is given top- wright. He should lust about man- 11.58 age it. St. Moritz, Quern's Regent and Pegasus are a fer others that 12.00 nooi might figure well. For those who liks the lightweights, Caulfield and Dish of St. Crond zught to aßbal as they have only been allotted 130 pounds each by the handicapper,

For the Shekki Handicap "B" Class, over six furlongs, there in a Jeg list.of.ansacessful subscriu- fion griffins and there is undoubled. by a big dividend lurking here. Peter Davey having shown very kood training forin, is likely to pe 12.28 ront for this race. Others which were prominent during the training 1.32 geason bat which failed to recount

for anything at the Annual Meet

ing were Scrappit. Vadio, and Cele- tity. An each-way bet on any lof then might prove to be a profit- able proposition.

Hongshan Handicap.

Ju the Heungshan Handicap "B" Mr. Но Кот Tong'a Britannic Hall might, poppegapte hi owner for his disappointment In his griffins. There is a very poor cum field placed in this event, and bilannic Hall ought to do well. Mindoro is another that has been Showing prdidies tately and Mr. Chan Tin Sen's Wine Stag is also filely to and a good deal of sup port.

The eighth race
