The Cub on the opening wore. short, Then Borderers were the first to settle down, and Blonn had to concede a corner, which Podmore headed bolind: A breakaway carried play into the Borderers' goalmouth, and the Club forced corner kick, which came to nothing.

MacFarlano returned, the ball. into the Borderers goalmouts, and afruitless appeal for handling was made when Buter breasted the ball. The soldiers wasted several splendid chances by poor play in front of the godlaka

When play, was résumód, the Borderers took up the offensive, and a centre from England should have resulted in a goat, but Lake man shot into the gon.keeper's hands, when only a yard from goal.
