Berlin, Feb. 1.-In the Reich- stag's budget committee heated Renes took place owing to colli- sions between the Communists and Minister of the Interior, Dr. Josef Wirth, who is ong of the leaders of the Clerical Centre Party, and who continued his recently started fight against the “brutal barbarous ant infamous" campaign against the Churches na carried on by tho Communist organization.
Dr. Wirth however did not con fine his attacks to the intolerance of the Communists but also sharply criticised "the excesses in the op posite dirvation committed by peo- ple in the burgeois camp" which were reminisceat of the state of mind prevailing in the seventies of Inst century.
The question of how to deal with the propaganda carried on by the Soviet d'adio broadcasting stations. was also raised in the course of the debate and nitention was called to the announcement made in Moscow to the effect that the Soviets had decided to open six new powerful. broadcasting stations of which several are specially designed for work amongst the nations of the Far East while some will be strong vnough to be heard in India and Africa.
