CRICKET TEAMS AND PLAYERS.
AN EXPLANATION—AND A MOAN.
R. ABBIT'S WEEKLY REVIEW.
I think, however, that the better I have received a letter which informs me that my casual state-side won. Owen Hughes, after a ment in my notes of Friday, February 13 (note the day ) that "the Navy-Craigongower game was cancelled because half the Naval aide (so I was told) were playing Rugger for the Servicen (in the Trial.) · A Friendly at Kowloon,
C.C.C. regular bowlers had rather put it across the Kowloon cracks, Craigengower put on change bowl ers and the K.C.C. tail wagged good and hearty. Of course, Lyal isn't really a tail bat, and he ran up pretty seventy, while Coodwin and Lindsell helped nobly to put up a total of two hundred and sixteen.
I was lucky enough to see a little in which they seem to have been of the K.C.C.-Craigengower match Laken. Nor, I think, does he apat K.C.C. on Wednesday. It was precinto how difficult it is to write a most sporting affair as, after the topical notes and meticulously think out whether or no any particular sentence can be taken the wrong What happened was this. After writing my notes for Friday, 6th February, but before seeing the Trial on the 7th, I asked an Offeer, who was in a position to be well- informed, about the Craigengower match.
