Eczema Itched Badly, Hands Cracked. Cuticura Healed.
"I was bothered with eczema which spread all over my hands. It came like Hitla'eyes of water, and my 'hands were in an awful stata for about three years. | It itched badly and when I rubbed my bands water caine from the eruptions with the result that they would get dry and crack badly.
"I tried various 'olaumeats but they were all failures. The trouble would dis- appear for a little while and then break! out again. I began using Cuticura Soap and Ointment and in abbut a year I was completely healed." (Signed) Mrs. Blie abeth M. Williams, Llandimore Farin, Cheriton, Reynoldston, Swansea, S. W., May 25, 1930,

At one time the hamlet was at
least accessible. The land around it, however, has gradually been en cloood during the years, and now no vehiclo can approach within half

What this means to those who have their homes there was explain ed by Mr. Oliver Hoare, who has vied in Drybrook all his fifty years and is a member of the West Dean Parish Council,
Captured airmen on both side of the lino were allowed to write notes or letter to relatives or friends in their quadron, telling them that they were safe.
These messages would then be, dropped behind the enemy lines by the captors.
In the summer of 1917 the men of Squadron 00 of the R.A.F. CAT ried out their dawn patrols with only pyjamas under their flying kit because of the intense heat,
Lieutenant Jorrard; V.C., was shot down near an Austrian warad. rome after aacrificing himself to save others. Having set out on patrol in his pyjamas, he was without tho distinguishing Sam Browne belt, and was faced with the possibility of being sent to a privates' detention camp.
His captare, however, flew to the British aerodrome at the risk of their lives and dropped a note in French, explaining the Lieuten- ant's predicament. Two bundles of clothing, including the much- nooded Sam Browne belt were made up and dropped over the Aus trian aerodrome by the British air-
