ROYAL NAVY IMPROVE THEIR POSITION IN LEAGUE,

Giving a sparkling exhibition of football, the Argyll and Suthorland Highlanders scored a 3- victory over the Chinese Athletic in the senior division before a record crowd at Sookun- poo. The Navy bent the Borderers by two goals to nil, while the H.A. took full points from the Club, and strengthened by the re- turn, of A. Gosnno, Recreio defented St. Joseph's at Happy Valley. In the second division the Navy scored another runway win, their victims being the Artillery while the Club Reserves did well to account for St. Joseph's and the Argylis had no difficulty in overcoming the Borderers.

The Borderers continue to win in the third division, while the B.A.0.0. brought off a surprise win over the Royal Engineers, Both the R.A.F. and R.A.S.C. also brought off unexpected wins, their victims being Fukien and Athletic, respectively.
