ENGLAND'S FIVE PER 'CENT. WAR LOAN.
WORLD CREDIT LYING IDLE
Is it not time that the British nation capitalized some of its credit? We have made enormous sacrifices in order that the British reputation for paying twenty shill, inge in the £ should be maintained. The whole world recognises that to-day, as before the War, a British promise to pay is the best security that can be offered. Yet our credit standing measured by intorest rates still remains at n' little under five per cent., no: better, for instance. than that of Trance, which declared herself insolvent, by devaluing hor surrency at the rate of 48. in the £. The principal reason behind this failure to realise the fall advantage of our high credit standing is the vaet mass of Five Per Cent. Cuticura Healed Painful Weeping Eruptions on Child
